I'm wondering if there is a better to handle the volume control on my devices I can view multiple ways.

Currently I have two TiVo's, a DVD player and a VCR that I can watch using my main TV alone, the main TV with the receiver for the sound and then on any TV in the house using a whole house audio system (Russound for the sound).

So the way I have this setup in my Pronto is that I have a page or two for each device with all of the transport controls, number pads etc., but then I have each of those pages replicated 3 times each with the only difference being the volume controls. (IE I have DVD-TV device, DVD-Rcvr device, and DVD-Russ device).

This all operates fine, except that when I need to "improve" the page layout I have to go make the changes 3 times (or 6 times in the case of TiVo). Invariably I forget an update somewhere, which then leads to inconsistent operation.

Is there a better way of handling this? I tried making the +/- volume buttons macros, but then you couldn't hold down the button to adjust the volume.

Do any other touchscreen remotes handle this better? Like a way to make the volume controls a settable "parameter" when you call the device?)
