After much anticipation I now have trashed that Denon piece of [email protected] However I can not even install the software for this new remote on XP. I continue to get the error "config.nt The system file is not suitable for running MS_DOS and Windows applications" Only options are to clos and ignore, both yeilding the same results... nothing. I have searched the forum and do not see anyone with the same issue, just issues around stability and learning. Any pointers or help appreciated.

You installing the normal PE? I have XP pro and didn't have any problems.

Found that the command.com, config.nt and autoexec.nt were corrupted in the windows/system32 directory. After moving them in again from the CD all is well. Now I am off to the races. Looks like a ton of cool stuff here on the site. Said goodbye to my wife this morning ;o)
