when i click the add button the only thing thast 0is active is the copy existing device button. but not the other 2.

so how do i get the create new device button to work?

there isn't supposed to be any dumb questions? right?

so there must be someone who can ttell me what i'm doing wrong.

It's not that it's a dumb question. We just don't understand what the circumstances are. Be a little more specific. What remote do you have, which software are you using, are you working with an existing ccf or starting from scratch, are you trying to create, a new device or a new button?

i forgot to mention that i use a pronto tsu2000.

i have a ccf that i have mixed and matched from many other ccf's. but i have a tv in the kitchen that i wanted to add to the pronto. but i can't because of the greyed out create new device button.

same question was asked recently on another thread here... [Link: remotecentral.com] but after i posted this one. i also used search but nothing came up answering this specific question.
