Hi Steve,

as far as I am aware the Denon remote only comes with Denons high end AV amp, the AV1-SE (at least this is the case in the UK) I have another Denon learning remote control, but it is nowhere near as good as the pronto. I wouldnt know about the software however, good luck with that!

Are you referring to the Denon RC8000? If so, check out:

[Link: denon.com]

Its got many similar features to the pronto, but it does seem to lack in some areas.

A couple of weeks ago a Denon rep was at www.avsforum.com discussing various issues. One of the items of interest was that Denon would/may be opening up the source code for the PC-based editing software for the Atkis.

In the US, the Atkis comes with the 5800 and 4802 receivers.

Steve,

To answer your question, no the software is not compatible. I.E. you can't load pronto files into the Denon.
