Not seeing my pronto pro. giving me this error when trying to download a config:

"trying to download to an incorrect device ! Check that ProntoPro is connected."

HELP! I need to sell this thing and need the default config back on it.

Have you upgraded to ProntoProEdit 3.4 and downloaded the associated firmware? This fixes some comms problems.

Otherwise, coms problems are common, and are not specific to which operating system you are using.

The message you have is suggesting that it is trying to communicate with the wrong com port which has something else connected to it. Which com port are you trying to use?
