I just got my TSU2000...yea! I downloaed and installed the ProntoEdit software. Whenever I launch it, it automatically tries to install another program (MGI Photo Suite). I checked the shortcut properties and there's no reference to anything like that.
Has anyone heard of this problem? I'm running a fairly new computer with Windows XP.
The good news is that I can just cancel the installation and then ProntoEdit starts up fine.
Thanks in advance for your help.

If I understand correctly, it tries to install (or do you mean run) Photo Suite, you kill it off, then it proceeds to run ProntoEdit.
Could be that Windows Installer somehow is confused and believes that ProntoEdit is not completely installed. The same way that Office wants to install new features the first time you use them.
Maybe Photo Suite is not properly installed. I'd first try uninstalling ProntoEdit then reinstalling it. Don't forget to reboot as well. You might need to do the same with Photo Suite.

Thanks for the subjections. I usually just know enough to be dangerous. :-) I'll try uninstall and reinstall. That could help. I do recall having a problem with PhotoSuite (it appeared to be loaded on my new computer, so I tried to run it, then it asked for a disk to complete the install, but I couldn't find it...)
BUt that was okay, cuz I didn't really need it. But it's odd that ProntoEdit somehow fires off that sequence.
Thanks for the suggestion.
