As an owner of both the Pronto Pro and the RC9200 I can tell you that at least in my experience the picture quality of the Pronto Pro is much better than that of the RC9200. For example, on the RC9200 if you adjust the contrast and brightness to get a panel to look good then go into setup the setup screen becomes way too dark. So much so that you can not read it. Turning up the contrast makes it readable but exiting setup and going back to a panel, the panel is too bright. Colors are washed out and you can't see your background color. On the pronto pro, adjusting the contrast on a panel then going into setup, the setup screen looks just fine.

Has anyone else noticed a difference?

Doug,

I don't own, nor have I played with a Pro. Even so, I sure haven't seen a situation where a panel looked good, but the setup was nearly unreadable on my 9200. I suppose there are some subtle differences between the two remotes, but I thought the screens were the same. I would also think that the contrast circuits would also be identical. Could be wrong about this though.
