Hi to all IR Freaks :)

I've got an electronic Kit for sending/receiving IR
The Sender Chip ( Volltronic VX1.3 ) a very integrated chip which is capable to do electronic parallel IN to IR serial Out.The IR signal is a kind of 10Bit serial protocol.The receiver chip is the vice versa thing :)
This thing is VERY useful to steer anykind of devices especialy home made things like silverscreens, light control and so on.The chip is very adjustable in the IR Frequency!I can provide a complete datasheet for the sender and receiver chip in PDF but it is in german.I'm from Austria - for me it is no problem to read but maybe for you.I've tried several ways to teach the RC5000i the IR Signal but the Receiver only says "there is a signal" but i do not understand it.
Has anyone experience with this chip ? Or have anyone an idea how to get the correct codes ?
