Somehow I've ended up with Sys. V.4.6, App V5.1 and Marantz version 2.01 in my philips tsu2000. Can anyone tell me how to get philips software back into this unit?

I'm here to help! I am remote central's help for the help that needs help with the help they are seeking help for! How can my help be of help to you today!
Ahhh..... loaded the incorrect firmware update and forced out the old firmware. Have you tried evicting the new firmware? If that didn't work, have you tried coaxing the old software back in?
Let me know if I can be of help with the help you are seeking help for!

I think you may be misreading the Setup Panel that reports Sys & App Versions. Are you sure that: "Marantz version 2.01" Doesn't actually say: Matrix Ver 2.1 I don't think it's possible to stuff Marantz into a Pronto. MIKE Click on the links in the box below, in particular you will find : the FAQ, Reviews, Play With It, Phases, Planning and ALIAS.CCF helpful when just starting out. Also, don't forget the Search Forum at the bottom of the Page. It may seem slow but it is VERY thourough and don't be mislead by the "0%" you will see on the first screen, it is only a progress marker.

What, exactly, did you do to get this software in there in the first place? MIKE

The remote works with some keys, others send it into corrupt ccf file. I made up the ccf in prontoedit v2.0, then i needed to add some discreet codes I found on remote central. I believe they were from a Marantz ccf. I merged the 2 ccf's and volia!

Cool! I'll have to remember that one.
Could prove useful in the future.

I don't think anyone here has seen this before. However, if merging and then uploading caused the problem, try uploading a normal TSU 2000 ccf into the remote. I assume you've tried reflashing the firmware.

Have you tried simply reverting it to the factory default??? If you can get to the setup menu by touching and holding the remote icon on the home page (top center) for about 3 seconds, then go to the second set up panel using the up or down arrows on the right. You will see a revert icon. Tap the Revert Button and follow the on-screen instructions. -Bruce alpha2data on eBay

The text you are seeing is the name given to the CCF. It has nothing to do with the firmware.
You can give a name to any CCF under System Properties.
You simply have a CCF that started off life as the Marantz default CCF, and has since been modified.
