There are a number of shareware and freeware programs that can do this, such as the appropriately named "GIF Animator," but I usually create my bitmaps first with Micrografx Picture Publisher or Macromedia Fireworks.

Go here: Son of Spy FreewareClick on Graphics, scroll down to "ULead Gif Animator LITE", click on Download . . . and best of all, its FREE!!! (I haven't been able to find the Key for V2.0, but I have an eMail in to the Site's Author to try and get it).I've downloaded a TON of "How did I live without it before?" Apps from this site. Lot's of unbelievable stuff here, all for free! MIKE Here's two more links for windows Tips & Tricks that I just found recently:
