I just got an RC9200 and tried to download the installation instructions, when I discovered that it won't run on Windows XP. Does anyone know what the issues are running it on XP? Does anyone know when or if an XP compatible version will be released?

I run Touchscreen setup just fine on XP.... it's not "officially" supported on XP but it works.

It should work, but don't use the PC to learn, use the remote.

TouchScreen Setup *IS* officially supported as far as the rest of the Operating Systems are concerned. It's listed in the manual as one of the required OS's.
I'm running it on XP (with a 5200) and the only problem I run into is it only works perfect in the profile I installed it in. I reinstalled it in another profile and it still didn't work there. Gives me a DISK ERROR when I try to run it.

OK, I've now installed it and it does run, but not without problems: (1) unlike other programs, you can't open a file from within an archive -- you have to unzip it first; (2) it sometimes locks up when you run the emulator; (3) trying to run Daniel's .ccf makes it crash.

1) it works for me with PE, I will have to try it on Monday with TSS,
3) do a search, it was reported before. It has to do with the game, but I think there is a workaround.

Robert,
#3 - it is indeed the galaxy game. You can either download ProntoProEdit and delete the Galaxy device in the Macro Section, or download PEUpStack (do a search to find a link) and patch TouchScreenSetup. Either of these will allow Daniels ccf to load.
