Can somebody help me please, trying to write text on a page, or screen, and am having no success. What I am trying to do is get around the fact that toshiba has no discrete codes for my 56h80 tv, and what I want to be able to do is, maybe put a jump in , to maybe a question asking if the TV is on or off, and go from there, simple but dont know how to put text on a page, thanks.

If you want to have just text (no button associated with the text block), right click on the panel, and select add frame. Double click on the new frame and you can then type in your text, select text and background color and even add a bitmap.

That technique works great if they follow the steps. Otherwise things can get messed up easily if the go to the device page. I know there are a couple ways around this, but if you put a power button on each video device screen, anyone should be able to tell if the tv is off when it should be on!!

Or you can use the Toshiba "discrete power" work-around kenny.
POWER ON:
TV POWER (1.0 second delay) TV POWER
POWER OFF:
TV POWER (1.0 second delay) TV POWER (2.5 second delay) TV POWER
This always works well for us.
