Does anyone else have this problem? I am able to lightly, and slowly, touch the screen to cause a beep, but transmit nothing. If I continue, without adjusting position, to press harder, the transmission will occur, with no audible confirmation. It is easiest to do with fingernail or stylus. If they all do this, the confirmation beep is useless. Otherwise, mine is defective.

Al, from what I've seen, the condition you describe is normal. Even the RC5200's I program have the same behavior.

Check out the FAQ B2-05 about this anomoly, it happens on all the Pronto family of remotes.
