There was a guy who posted on Home Theater Forum asking questions about this remote. He sited J&R (so I think it's the same remote as the original posters question) and the Harman Karden website. They were selling them for $118. The one on the Harman Karden website was, of course, the Take Control.

Daniel,
Do you really think so. I know this is less than 1/3 of the original list price, but would you buy it over some of the newer touchscreen offerings in this price range? I just remember many of the complaints from the users, limited IR range, dim backlight, and if I remember correctly the minimum delay that can be set is one second which would make for some sloooow macros.

**** Well I just ordered one **** for 97.50 plus 10.50 2nd day air I could not resist. I am really just looking for a good universal remote and have had the sony rm-av2100 which I loved all except for the huge case it was in.
