In Dale Crawford's famous and often copied CCF, there are buttons that allow the user to jump to various destinations along the upper margin of most pages. The buttons are labeled in the bitmap in white with a single pixel black outside stroke. Does anyone know the name of that font???

Thanks,

Geoff

Geoff,

You could ask Dale (darnitol) directly his e-mail is listed. I've personally just used the paint program to build these letter and create new buttons.

Unfortunately, when I created my CCF I couldn't find a font that met my requirements for both compactness and clarity. So I just hand-lettered everything and cut-and-pasted the letters in as I needed them.

I've included the source file that I use when creating new items for my CCF. I hope it helps you.

Thanks,

Dale

Damnitol? *laugh* Don't know if that was a typo or pun intended. Dale, perhaps you should add a last name to your forum handle: Damnitol Tohell

Given my "peaceful nature," shouldn't my last name be "Toheck?"

No offense taken at all. I lifted the nick "Darnitol" from a very early episode of Saturday night live, where it was used as the name of a fictional pain reliever. I still find it funny, so I've stuck with the nick for years.

Thanks,
Dale

So far so good. Thanks for asking. He's very, very active and likes to use my bladder as a trampolene. Next month I take my 3 hour glucose test again to see if the gestational diabetes has gotten any worse. Keep your fingers crossed.

I didn't know you were expecting! Congratulations!

You may recall that my wife and I had twins back in June, which is why I've been so scarce around here.

I wish you the best of health and everything else! Take care of yourself and that precious little package!

Sincerely,
Dale
