I tried using this for my 9200. Everything worked fine until I tried to create the ccf. It responded with "ProntoEdit v3.2xxx detected, I don't work with sw yet, I am aborting now." Or something like that. I am using the Marantz sw for the 9200. The read me says it works with the current remotes, including the 9200. I don't understand. Can someone help?

I just downloaded the copy of ProntoGen from the Files area. There is no mention of 9200 support (only 5000). It is based on CCF Compiler/Decompiler which does not yet have support for new Marantz line of remotes.

Peter,
I actually got it to create a csf that worked on my 9200. I need to play with it some more to see if I can figure out how to get it to actually control the Sony 450, but the csf ran. I loaded 4 cd's into it and that was rather impressive.

But it won't know about any of the new capabilites on the 9200 such as the extra buttons, and possibly color and the extra screen space. I expect it only creates B&W CCFs.

You are absolutely right about the buttons, color and extra screen space. It is B&W only. However, I don't think I have any other options. The info on trying to use Supernudelist for the 9200 looks next to impossible.
