I am completely baffled. On my 5000i, a perfectly working ccf, when upconverted to the 5200 format, exhibits the following error:

When executing anything from the Home panel, the screen goes blank and one beep is emitted. The screen then goes back to showing the home screen, but the problem continues. All other panels and buttons work perfectly on every device. Only when all jumps are removed from the home panel does the unit not lockup. I am baffled as to why it is necessary to remove jumps from the home panel on the 5200. Am I missing something on this remote???

Reflashing the firmware did not correct the problem.

Reconverting this ccf back to the 5000i format works perfectly from my 5000i.

Does Anyone know what the problem with the home page executing macros on the 5200 could be?????

The problem is NOT seen on the emulator... only on the actual remote.

I would really appreciate anyone's help on this!

I just discovered the problem: ANOTHER BUG in the software...
IN ORDER TO GET BUTTONS ON THE HOME PAGE ON THE 5200 REMOTE TO JUMP TO A MACRO PAGE, WITHOUT LOCKING UP THE REMOTE, YOU HAVE TO DEACTIVATE MACROS FROM THE SETUP MENU. (If you have buttons on device pages to jump to macro pages, they work without any problem). Note: you have to see the problem on an actual remote; the problem doesn't show up on the emulator.
