Hi Anthony,Thanks for your response.I noticed that you live in Montreal as I do,and wondered if you could possibly help me program the RC5200.I am having a hard time with it.

There is a fix for the backlight problem. Go to Marantz website and download the newest firmware. Than go to setup and you will find a new button. Thankfully, it is now fixed as this was driving me crazy.
