Hello All,

I know I have seen info on this page regarding this, but i cannot find it...

When learning IR into the RC5200 (via pc) the software generates an error and closes the program. Please help!

Thanks!

Don't learn using RCEdit - it doesn't work reliably. Do it directly on your 5200.

John,

I don't have a 5200 but I suspect this is true for it as well. Learning via the PC is unreliable, learn into the remote, then download to the PC. You should consider creating a panel of simple buttons to learn each code onto. Simply alias buttons in your ccf to these codes. Check out Mike's (MR Klattu's) help bar on other posts and then read, read, read. ;-D
