Oh no, I have a TOAD!

(Had to happen sooner or later...)

Sony TIVO question:
Every now and then (when I'm watching TIVO) it comes up and tells me that it wants to switch channels to record a show.

Will it still do this if I leave the unit ON?

Will it still record TiVo picks if I leave the unit ON?

Thanks, and HAPPY NEW YEAR to everyone.
