Most of the time I use the emulator it runs so slowly that it's not useable. I say most of the time because every now and then it runs fine. This happens on two separate computers - both running Windows 2000. Has anyone else had this problem? Are there known software conflicts that cause this kind of issue?

Is it in the video driver? Does the painting of the graphics seem to be what's slow? If so what type of video chipset and card is it.

Thanks for responses!
I'm using PPE 3.4 and the size of the ccf doesn't seem to matter. It also happens on two computers - one a Compaq laptop and the second is a P4 w/a 64M nVidia card. The really weird thing is that it is not consistent - sometimes it runs perfect and occasionally it is so slow that it takes several minutes just to exit. It does seem to be happening less frequently over the last few days...

I found that when the emulator and the editor are open sometimes I get this also. I believe that at times the resources are being eaten up by the two programs running concurrently. I usually just close the editor and the emulator runs much faster and without a hitch.
