After downloading configuration into Pronto, I can no longer access menu mode to learn codes to Pronto. The menu mode icon does not show up at the bottom of the touch screen. Also, When I go into setup mode, the bar to turn menu mode on and off is not even there, normally it shows the menu mode icon with an x through it. Can anyone help me?

Sounds like a corrupt file. Try loading a different file to see if it returns.

In ProntoEdit:

  • Go into the System Properties Menu (It’s located under Home).

  • Once in the Menu, click on the “Pronto System Properties” Tab.

  • Un-click the box labeled: “configuration is write-protected”.

  • Hit “Apply” and then click “OK”.

  • Re-download your CCF to your Pronto.

Thankyou! That worked. After I changed the write protected box in the system properties the menu mode returned.
