What are you talking about? The CCF sucks.
The graphic quality looks like my 8 year old did it, and I have to reprogram every button, nothing works on my stuff!

Now you guys just know I was totally kidding right? I was going to let that message sit for a while, let someone respond. Then I was thinking even though I have been BEGGING for the CCF's release someone might think I was serious.
This CCF ROCKS, has anyone noticed that this CCF is used EVERYWHERE in pictures of the ProntoPro? All of them for sale on eBay, etc....
This thing is the standard.
Hey Daniel, have you been approached by Philips yet? I would not be shocked at all if they wanted to build this in to the Pronto.

The pictures of the CCF on eBay (before Daniel released his CCF) are only because they are no doubt stolen from this site, which is expressly forbidden, but obviously that fact means nothing to those who seek to profit from Daniel's hard work without any input on their part.
For those of you who obtained permission to post pics on eBay with Daniel's CCF, I apologize, but I doubt there are any.
I also think Daniel's CCF rocks!

I hate to say this, but most EBay sellers (present company excluded!) aren't too worried about copyrights. No one has yet asked permission. With that said, there's also quite a few "normal" sellers using those images...
What REALLY gets me is when someone uses the images without permission and doesn't even BOTHER to provide a link to the site.

Daniel,
I'd sue. I mean that is a copyright notice at the bottom of the page.
Your CCF is the best, and always has been in my humble opinion. My PayPal donation is on its way right after the holiday shopping binge that my wife is planning.

You could sue. You could also send a "cease and desist" letter. But you're stepping off a steep slope that could be more trouble than its worth, unless someone is making a commercial venture off it. You could certainly argue that by showing your CCF in an e-bay ad, they are making it more attractive to the buyer and helping his business. When Philips showed your 2000 CCF, it certainly helped attract me to the Pronto. I assume they got some sort of permission or licensed the use of the image. If not, Daniel you're too nice a guy to exist in the real world.
As for your new CCF, it's undoubtedly way cool, polished, and, yes, sexy. You're clearly at the top of the list of CCF innovators. Problem is, you're your own worst enemy. Your B&W CCF was such a mind-blowing departure, so radically creative and influential, that its hard to top that impact. It's like hearing all the guitar players that followed in the wake of Hendrix. But for Hendrix, the musical landscape would be totally different. The minds he expanded owe him a debt, but its one he can't collect. Same with your CCF.

I agree with the previous posts. That is one awesome CCF! Now I have to have a Pronto Pro for myself. ;-)
