I couldn't be any lazier, so I'm trying to utilize my pronto to do most everything for me. So far its working, but sometimes I still have to push more than one button :(
What I want to do is use a timer in a macro. Say I hit the "watch DVD" button, I'd like it to do all the usual stuff, switch inputs, open the drawer (no problems there) but then I'd like it to wait about a minute, close the drawer and play. So essentially all I have to do is put the DVD in the drawer.
Is it possible? If so, would I use the timer function or just add a long delay between opening and closing the drawer?
thanks.

You can put a one minute delay in your macro.

You cannot use a timer, because timers can only be set to trigger at an absolute, not relative time.

. . . which would then trigger an Ir controlled solenoid attached to a 4 inch straight pin in the cushion of your LazyBoy which will absolutely Poke You In The A$$ until you get out of the chair and put the DVD in the drawer ! ! ! !

Unless you're in Relative Time, in which case you should have a Relative sitting in your LazyBoy ! ! ! ! !

Thanks Peter, and everyone else. Honestly my theater is so small, I could probably just poke at the DVD player with a broomstick a la Homer Simpson, but the Pronto is just so much cooler.
Thanks Again

You can always tape the stick to the Pronto :-)

But I think Peter has the best idea.

I have just one question. If you need to get up to put the DVD in the tray, then why do you need a remote to close the DVD players tray?
