I at the point where I need to build a bunch of macros. What is the correct way toi do this? Should I put them behind the buttons or should I build pannels under macro and put them behind buttons there? I can see the later being more orginzed but taking more space, is this correct?

Every button is (can be) a Macro. And most of those generally are on Panels contained within each particular Device - Jumping back-and-forth between Panels/Devices as needed to accomplish the desired "Effect".

This, of course, must be done in ProntoEdit.

Read the Links below, and use Search Forum. I think you should particularly read "Play With the Puppy" and "Create an ALIAS.CCF".

The difference between the sides is only for the Pronto itself. It can edit Macros on the macro side and learn on the device side. So if you need to edit the macros on the remote then it should be on the macro side, and if you need to learn to it it needs to be on the device side. If you don't care, it does not matter.
