having a problem in which while operating the Pronto, it stops beeping (when you press buttons) and stops firing IR.........
The Pronto still animates, changes screens, but no IR and no beep confirmation when touching the buttons. I am a custom installer and salesman, so I have run into about 4 Prontos like this one in the last 3 month.
The Pronto initially works, and then this problem suddenly happens........
I noticed that if I take out the batteries and put them back in, when it resets, the Pronto works properly, but then the problem resurfaces again soon after. Help!!

Have you tried reloading the firmware?

Yes, I reloaded the firmware, no difference. I did discover that there was an accidental udb code not assigned to do anything in one of my macros of one of the ccf files I programmed for a customer. This unassigned UDB code caused the problem in this particular ccf.
Now to check the others........
