okay, i have the denon avr-3801. i have my xbox connected to one of the component inputs and my stand alone dvd player going into the other one. every command my pronto issues is perfect for my set up except ONE! i can't get it to select the "tv/dbs" video so that it will allow the xbox signal to go to the tv. each time i boot up the xbox i have to manually hit the "video select" hard button on the front of the denon in order to toggle through DVD, VDP then finally TV/DBS so that the xbox signal will be on the tv. so, does anybody know of a dicrete code for this button, or is there anything else i can do to get around this?
thanks a lot!

Just look in the file section under "Component CCF Files" or you can just use this which I found for you.

Edit: Sorry I misread. I believe that is for audio. For video, I am not exactly sure how to do it, but I think you can program a macro to send the video select signal the amount of times you need as a workaround.

thanks riff, but yeah i need it for the video select button which is only on the damned unit, not the remote. otherwise i would have done what you suggested and captured the ir from the remote and just duplicated the ir for the amount of times i needed. unfortunately for me that isn't the case. argh!
thanks for your time and effort though

Well I just downloaded the Denon 3801 System Component file from the component file section of this website. There I saw they had an IR code for video select, and that's what I gave to you. Not all that difficult :) Glad it works for you...
