I have a pronto 1000 and a rav 2000 . I have read the edit manuals but I am really not sure where to start or which remote would be the most user friendly. Is there a newbe area or some step by step area just to get my feet wet. I don't want to annoy anyone with the basic stuff. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated

Read the links in this box for starters. Particularly the FAQs.

Also the Search Forum can be a BIG help.
