Have a new Marantz 5000i. The button "Create New Device" is greyed out and will not work. Have tried changing Show/Hide Device in set-up to no avail. Thought I would try restoring factory defaults via the PC interface, however I get a message indicating that the device is not connected. I am runnning Win XP and have been unable to fix the problem. Lastly tried the customer service number in the User Guide, which also does not work. Currently I am unable to move forward to a resolution. Can anyone be of assistance? Regards, Alan

Read the links in this box for starters. Particularly the FAQs.

As for your Connection Problems, the Search Forum can be a BIG help . . . try using "connection XP" ALL WORDS for 3 MONTHS, you should find some god advice.
