RF extender for Marantz rc9200 and rc5200 will be available soon.
Do you know if a similar extender is possible for the PRONTO TSU 2000 ?

No the TSU 2000 cannot send RF. The remote needs to be able to send RF so that the RF->IR receiver will work. You might be able to build it into the Pronto, there is a thread on how to add an RF module inside the Pronto.
