Before anyone sais anything, I serched the faq, searched the form and went to phillips site.

I just got a Pronto from JandR and it reboots itself every 15 min or so. I looked at the firm ware and it is v3.6 my other proto is v3.62. I know the cff is fine because it works in the other pronto so I think my next step is to update the firmware. How Do I do this? Where are the instructions and the downloads?

It it appears that you got a TS1000 from the sys level you mentioned. (It sounds like you also got a bad Pronto.)

Click on the following link. It's from the RC Forum files section for SYS v3.62 and APP v4.85 Philips ProntoEdit v1.05

You will also find the complete details there too.

Using ProntoEdit V1.05, from Tools menu, select Update.
