I just bought a Neo and need some help with basic concepts. The macros I've tried don't work as I thought they should; what I want to do, for example, is press "Watch DVD" and have the thing power up my TV, Receiver, DVD player, switch the TV to S-Video and the receiver to DVD input. Any suggestions would be gratefully received.

Gene, What specifically are you having problems with? You'll want to find discrete codes for your TV, DVD player and receiver. Click on FILES on this site and see if they're readily available. Of course, post again if we can help some more! Randy www.RRDeals.com

You can NOT put in a macro when selecting a button off the Neo's Device Overview page! The only fix for this is to have a macro on one of the hard buttons under Device Overview, and have it start everthing and jump to the device's page you want.
One warning, after you set up the macro this way, DL it, because after you save it, it will not work!

Gene... I don't think Randy is correct. Although I always seem to get lost in the files area, there does not appear to be any Neo files there yet. Also, I do not believe you can do an upload from the Neo as you can with the variations of all the other TS/TSU/SBC/RC units. -Bruce alpha2data on eBayThis message was edited by alpha2data on 11/16/01 18:50.44.

Thanks for that advice - it put me in the right mindset for success. After two days of fruitless attempts, the little light came on and I got the freakin' thing to work. Now all I have to do is spend another week fixing the little mistakes and reloading everything.
