I have to agree with Greg...

Some** people do the same thing for 20 yrs and only keep repeating what was learned in the first. They only think they have 20 years experience when in reality they have only one.

Ding Dong!!!! I chimed in!!!

I didn't enter because, well, I had no time to put something together. Plus I'm freakin' lazy!!!

So, if Anthony wins, so be it.

If his CCF turns out to be the best one, (following the criteria put forth by the contest rules) I say he deserves it.

Just my 2 freakin' cents!!!!

Good way of putting it, Bruce!
When ignorance is bliss, ‘tis folly to be wise.

Loved the title of this thread, Anthony--definitely the thread title of the year, and you're my bud, BUT--

Gee, I've been really busy, and I can't get my CCF done until week after next. Can I still get in??

[There I go again, Greg!]

Greg: I know there are a lot of very talented people here. And I know my limits. I also understand and I agree with your analogy. Pus to be honest, it is not as polished as I would have liked. I wanted to create some different icons for some of the states but I never had the time.

Bruce & John: I know no one can compete with you two so I am sure that all the people who entered are breathing a bit easier :-)

Daniel: ProntoProMan might be right, I never meant this thread to put you in a hard place. I just needed to vent some frustration at myself (for procrastinating at the beginning) and my luck (not being able to get a network connection at the 11th hour - pun intended), and like I said before to let everyone know why I did not enter.

Anthony:

If Daniel came onto this public forum telling you to send yours in even though it was a little late, I'm sure he's not making a special exception just for you...

If someone else "forgot" to submit their file at the exact last minute, they could have asked me if they could still enter as well. But let's just say that next week would be too late. ;-)

I note that the time & date on his file are appropriate to the contest guidelines. (I know those can be faked, but I doubt he did).
