A friend did the same to mine. It didn't come back for about a day, but I think the wine eventually dried up and it works fine now.
I also opened up the remote and used some distilled water to try to clean up the circuit board. Others have recommended using some cleaning products that you can buy at Radio Shack for about $5.

1) take out the battery 2) rinse out the wine with a bit (drops) of warm water, wine has sugars and stuff and it can gum up the insides 3) flip the Pronto on its screen and let dry for a day (so that any liquid will not dry on the electronic components and some might come out of the L/R button hole that it used to get in 4) Cross your fingers and put the battery back in
One of my Prontos had a drink of coffee and came back to life.

thanks for the advice. I successfully revived the Pronto using a hot water rinse and air drying for a day

Everyone here has missed the most important part of this issue...... Fine wine was diverted from it's proper mission (being consumed) to attacking a Pronto.
Hopefully the wine in question wasn't too fine. I recently opened a nice $100 bottle of wine, and then immediately knocked if off the counter. The only one who got to enjoy it was my dog.
A Pronto can be replaced, my wine couldn't. And I don't often drink $100 wine, so I was especially depressed. But I digress........

Steve13. Point accepted, but whilst the pleasure of a fine wine is short lived (in your case very short lived unless you include the dog!) the pleasure of the Pronto will be with you for many years yet.

Also guys - don't forget the cases available. These *almost* make the main areas of the Pronto liquid repellent and will save you from disaster next time.

Cases? Do they may them for the TSU6000? Where would I look for these?
Thanks

No, I don't believe there's a ProntoPro model yet.
