Hi everybody!
Is it possible to assign a different ir-code to a button, when it is released? My problem is, that I have a Remote that sends a code when I push the button, an other code when I hold the button and a third code when I release the button. I would like tho program this sequenze in my Pronto RU-940.
All suggestions are welcome.
thanx a lot

You're going to have to create 3 buttons. one for each "Function". Experiment with the technique in this link: B7−09 How can I get the Pronto to "hold" a button for several seconds in a macro? MIKE

Thanks for your response. I have seen this possibility in the faq. But, with this button I would like to dimm the light. On the original remote it dimms the light till I release the button. When I do it with a macro in Pronto then I have a static value, it dimms the light always for the same time.

When you learn the code to the Pronto, make sure that you hold the Button on the Original Remote until the Pronto Beeps and says it is finished learning - or Learned OK - (I don't remember ecactly what the message is). The important thing to remember is to continue holding the TEACHING Button until the Pronto is completed learning it.
