DANG BUDDY ! ! !

If you've already got an Xbox, why don't you be the first to offer one up??!!

Even if you get an XBox ccf, you still need to get the IR receiver (which comes with a remote), to enable the DVD infrared remote control...

Amazing... they copied the PS2's one fault, no built-in IR receiver?

Dustin,

Looks like you got good connection to be able to grab one. Is the XBox really amazing as they say it is?

I was able to get the remote with the Xbox but the TSU2000 can't learn the codes. How do you go about generating discreet IR codes?

On side note, the Xbox is really cool, especially Halo. Last night I was driving this jeep thing in Halo and he was the gunner in the jeep.

I got the Xbox but I did not get the IR Remote. It did not occure to me that I needed to add an IR reciver (which comes with the remote), which seems to be the case. Anyhow. The XBox is GREAT, we got it with "Dead or Alive 3" and "Nascar Thunder". I may later fork out the $30 for the DVD kit.

The Xbox is better than they say it is. Not just becasue of the games (Halo-unfreakinbeleivable!) But the subtle touches. The hard drive is just the greatest thing that happened to home game systems. The Xbox setup screen is very easy to use and cool to look at, and it allows you to record CD's for use as a sound track. You can also set it up to display up to 1080i (which i don't have a TV that will do that, but it's a nice feature)

Also let me tell you about halo- I have that game set-up in Dolby Digital Surround- I almost peed myself- it just amazing.

Anyway about the remote: No information as to why it's delayed, my uncle has one on order, and he got the same speil everyone else did. I didn't get an Xbox through him, I got one just like everyone else did, waiting in line at the toys R Us at the crack of dawn. Although if you work at microsoft you have the option of buying (for $400) a translucent green Xbox with Bill Gates printed signature on it, with all of the first party games (Halo, Amped, Project gotham, NFL fever, Munch's) and two translucent reen controllers. Not bad for $400 considering i got two games two contollers and a black box for the same amount.

I just got an X-box, with DVD remote, and can't get it to learn any codes. Not sure what the problem is. My device I set up can learn codes from any other remote, just not the X-Box one. The batteries are fine, maybe the remotes broken.

Clueless to the problem.

Anyone else have any luck?????
