Was wondering how user freindly this controller is with Tivo? Anybody have any insight on this?

I have a Dishplayer, which has PVR functionality like the Tivo combined with DISH satellite reception. I'm happy with the combination of DP and Pronto. Since I don't turn the DP off, I'm not worried about the lack of discrete power. Any discrete functionality, whether power, inputs, or function is what I'd recommend you check out. It's not an issue, but it's worth checking. Also, if I were you, take a look at CCFs that have the TIVO, and see how clean they are. You'll get a good picture of the options that way.
I may switch to TIVO, but not in the near future. Good luck, let us know how it goes!

The Pronto works perfectly with TiVo (I have used my Pronto with both the Sony SAT-T60 and SVR-2000). But - this is the only remote that I will take out of the drawer and sometimes use. The TiVo remote is layed out so well and there is a lot of usage of keypad that being able to use hard buttons without looking is hard to pass up.
But again, the Pronto is very TiVo Friendly.

Been using Pronto with TIVO for a year and a half. Works GREAT!! No problems.
