How are you trying to enter them at the moment? I am not familiar with the Myryad DVD but I'm sure the remote can be no different from those supplied with other DVD players. You will need to provide more information.

Hi Mike,

I try to enter those codes with the learn option. It works for all buttons but not for the nun. pannel. I ask Myryad to send me the IR codes but it's very slow.

Can you help me ? Thanks.

What is the nun. panel? what does it do, how does it function and what is the output, i.e what state are you expecting the DVD to achieve when it is used?

Thanks Anthony, I missed that obvious clue!.
Lapin. How are you attempting to input the codes. The easiest way is to use the Myryad's remote and load them into the Pronto. If this won't work first time you may need to reposition your remote remembering to point the output of the Myryad remote at the bottom of the Pronto. Also try to hold the button on the Myryad remote down for a few seconds until the signal is accepted by the Pronto.
Are you attempting to input Numbers 1 to 9 or numbers from 10 and above which require two inputs from the Myryad?
Any one else got any suggestions?
Mike

Lapin: what is happening when you try to learn
A) Pronto crashes
B) Pronto tells you that it did not learn them
c) Pronto tells you that it learnt them successfully, but they do not work

If I recall the myryad uses the same remote codes as Arcam (HiFi shop used an Arcam remote when they were demoing it to me). When I was enquiring about discrete codes I found their contact on the web site extremely helpful. Steve

Hi,

thanks for all your answer. actually I still didn't succed to enter the codes. I try to enter 1, 2, 3, 4... by loading the IR signal from the original Myryad remote to Pronto. I try pushing a few seconds but it doesn't work : The Pronto tell me that it didn't learn the code (error).

I try to contact Myryad but the responsable is on vacation till 20th december. I'll try with Arcam because theendisnye told me it's the same remote (could you send me those codes please ?).

Once again, thanks.

Have a look at [Link: remotecentral.com] where you may find a ccf for an Arcam amp that replicates the Myryad codes. Alternatively try
www.arcam.co.uk

Hello Mike,

Yesterday, I try to dowload an Arcam ccf from the "files" : it was for dvd player (dv88). The num. pannel doesn't work (even for the Arcam), but I'll try with the amp ccf.

Thanks.

I don't know if it will be of any help but there is a guy on the review side of this site who has a Home Theatre remote control. He lists his equipment and that includes a Myryad amp. May be worth emailing him for the IR codes as they may work on your amp as well. His email address is [email protected].

Hi,

Myryad finally send me the codes I was looking for. They give me a "customer code" : 21DE and several codes for the buttons (1 to 9) for example : the 6 button is 0A. Does anybody know how to enter those codes in Prontoedit ?
Thanks.

Can't help you with this but I'm sure if you do a search on this forum you will come across some advice.
Also have a look at
