I somehow lost the CCF file that goes along with the current configuration in my Pronto. When I upload it to my PC it does not contain all the information. Is this normal? Is there anything that I can do to get a complete CCF file?
Thanx for your help. Steve

Some questions:
1. How was the CCF created? 2. What info is missing when you upload? 3. Do you have a backup CCF in Pronto Edit? Have you tried to download it? What happens when you do? 4. What do you mean "a complete CCF?"

1: I had originally created it with ProtoEdit. 2: There is not much there at all. A few of the screens are there but no scripts below them. It is wierd. 3: No I do not have a backup CCF. 4: I was under the assumption, maybe incorrectly, that I could upload from a Pronto and have everything that I need to edit the configuration. There must be some information needed to edit the configuration that does not get downloaded? For instance, can I install ProtoEdit on a totally new computer and then upload from a Pronto, edit the config and then download to it?
Thanx for the help Steve

If you download then upload, you should get back exactly what you started with.
You can use any computer - does not have to be the same one.
5. Did you get any error messages when you uploaded? 6. When uploading, were you asked whether you wanted to merge or replace? If so, what did you answer? 7. What do you mean by "scripts"? Prontos do not have scripts. Did you mean macros?

I was getting an error. "Invalid Configuration"
So, I replaced the batteries in the Pronto and removed the software and reinstalled it and all is working now.
Thanx for the help
Steve
