I am looking for discrete codes for a Pioneer DV535 DVD player and also a Denon AVR 1601 Receiver.

I have tried the files section and the forum for help and have also played around with GenIRDB and some of the utilities from the files section, but with little luck.

I've only had my Pronto for about a month and would love these discretes to complete my CCF. Hope someone can point me in the right direction.

Thanks.

Sounds like they don't exist.

Try a "discrete macro" instead.

Turn on the Pioneer by:
* Pressing play, then delay, then stop.

Turn off the Pioneer by:
* Pressing Play, delay, then stop, then power.

You should find the discrete on/off codes listed on the files page for the Pioneer DVL-909, DVL-919, DV-414, DV-505, DV-525 should work.I used them for a DV-505 before they were listed as verified.I have also recentley changed to a Pioneer DV444 and they still work for that one as well!

Are there Discrete codes for a Sony DVP-CX870D DVD Changer for things other than power?

Example, I can learn the codes for things like showing the list of DVD's on the screen but that is a toggle, it would be useful to have discrete codes that are absolute to tell the list to show or not show. This was when you select from your main menu to watch a DVD you can pop the list up when you switch modes on the TV, now lets say you really wanted to watch tv and did not close the Disc Explorer menu prior to moving on then whe you return to the DVD you will actually be closing the explorer rather than opening it.

You can not rely on another display command to close it when you leave the DVD menu on your Pronto either as you may be opening the menu if in fact you have already closed it.

Any help is appreciated. Can anyone tell me how to FIND discrete codes to begin with? I would be happy to do my own work and post the results, I just have no clue on how you come up with them to begin with.
