Does ProntoEdit 1.0 only save CCF files for 1 meg system size and 2.0 only save CCF files for 2 meg system size? Are there any other differences in the CCF file formats other than allowable file sizes between the versions?

No. V2 can be used with any Pronto, V1 can be used with all Pronto's except the TSU2000 (US version of 2meg Pronto). V2 has some bugs (which is why I stick with 1.5), it also has the UDB, but it can only be used with the TSU2000. As for size it can be adjusted in the Pronto.ini file to what ever you want, so it does not affect CCF format. But V2 is different, since Philips changed the IR HEX format, to compensate for the UDB, if you download to a non TSU2000 PE fixes the codes to the old format while downloading.
