My TSU2000 has been attempting to clean my memory for about three hours. I assume this is similar to defragging a hard drive. The progress indicator hasn't changed at all. What are my options? It appears to be locked up. If I remove the batteries, will I cause damage to the operating system? What about resetting to the default? I had recently added a large gallery of stuff to customize my set up. Pronto Edit would probably be a better way to go. Thanks for any input.

You should be making changes using ProntoEdit.
