Hey all -

I was getting a "low battery" warning tonight.. when my rc5000i should have been charged (or at least mostly).

So I kept putting it on the charger.. and the green light would stay on for 10 minutes tops, then go out. I'd have to remove the remote from the charger and place it back down, to resume the green light.

Still, after an hour of doing this.. I still had the low battery warning (which prohibited me from even checking the battery level).

So I removed the battery and replaced it.. and voila.. full charge.

Now, thouugh, when I put it on the charger.. the light blinks. I've never seen that before.

Can anyone provide any info on what's going on here?

Thanks in advance.

Frank

Blinking typically indicates that the contacts are not meeting correctly. Ensure all contacts inside the battery case are hitting the battery, and those on the remote/charger are clean.

Frank: when the "low battery" icon appears, the remote stops checking the battery, the first part is normal.
Try reinstalling the battery again, it might not be making a good contact. Andf you should be recharging more often, the remote does not like weak batteries
