I've away for a few months and now there seems to be a new Rave. What's the deal with RAVedit? It looks like ProntoEdit. Can it or should it be used with a Pronto TSU-2000? Thanks a ton in advance for some claification! Ron...

Thanks Daniel. It's good to be back. Are there reasons to use it? Ron...

It's got less bugs than the TSU2000, however you can't change the home icon. Also, the emulator won't have the TSU2000's upper and lower interface (the Yamaha is different).

It is the edit software for the RAV-2000 from Yamaha.
It also has some extra features one of them being that it can change all the similar icons in one shot.
Note: its IR database is a bit different

And it has special codings for Yamaha devices instead of RC5/6. These won't work in a Pronto.
So, if you want to insert RC5/6 codes, or change the home icon, you need to temporarily revert to ProntoEdit.
You can also switch galleries during an edit session.
