So I have had my remote a while now and originally set up a CCF that covered all the buttons on the remotes with no great style. Improvements over time saw some macros added for power up and down etc.
I have recently spent a number of hours setting up a CCF that can hold its own in a style contest. I didn't design the screens but did alter to suit my set up. I opted for the action buttons down one side and tabs along the button. Thanks go to the original designer.
All the action buttons switch everything required when swapping devices. I am pleased it is finished and installed on the remote. The other half even says it is easier to use than the original remotes!
A couple of things are buggin me.
One is my denon amp, not digital and with no discrete on/off as it is too old. This will be replaced next year with a digital so I don't care too much.
A Denon Tuner TU260 MkII that is quite new but I haven't seen discrete on/off codes for. I have found a method to discretely (workaround) select the memory buttons
A Proline Video, no discrete on/offs. (my other video is a nice panasonic so don't give me any grief for such shoddy kit).
Other than that I am happy with the set-up. Arcam included discrete on/offs for DVD with only a little badgering. Toshiba TV can discrete (workaround) select AV channels. I have replaced ntl's cable!! Sky has discrete(ish) on/offs.
Lutron lights next year. If only I can get hold of remote control curtains.
So please hel pwith the proline and the denon tuner if possible.
Cheers Dave
