Does anyone know if my wife can use "too much time programming that damm remote" as cause for divorce.
If I don't come up with a working CCF soon I am going to be single again....

You should read the "Wonder how far I can throw a Pronto thread" That should get you going.

Wives are a dime a dozen, but a slick working CCF is a treasure forever.

You guys must like to live dangerously. Haven't you taken notice of how many of the new posters, of late, are Women?

There's quite a few.

Andrea, Cyber Vixen and.....???

Besides none of the women who post here would be ragging on their man that he's spending too much time programming the Pronto. The women who post here are prime wife material--women after our own hearts!

Ain't Life strange?

Here I was watching a movie on Encore! ("Creator") and lo & behold, this quote comes up:

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

"the darkages of enlightened science"

xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

It's not about "prime wife material", but about Mindset

Just program a "Mute Woman" key on your pronto.

1) Create a temporary CCF that can be used. (this way she can realize the value of the remote

2) Work on your CCF to get it to look good

3) On the final CCF add also some romantic stuff
you can find some ideas here

(there was one more thread I can remember, but I could not find it)
4) then mention that #3 was what took all that extra time , and how we were helping you to get it done (just in case she thinks you spend to much time on this site)

I am spending hours programming my new Prontopro remote and what keeps my wife being patient is when she sees the progress. The fact that it's easier to use and to read due the cool colors, helps. I am trying to get her involved by asking her what colors she'd like to see for example...

In the meantime maybe some of us should consider this as a Temporary Remote

Thanks Mourad,

Was just browsing this thread and clicked on your link to the 'temporary' remote - just as my wife sticks her head over my shoulder

Good job she has a sense of humour. Being 38 weeks pregnant I can run faster than her anyway.

Do you know where I can get a 'baby remote?'

ATB,

Underdog
