Sorry if this has been asked a million times before, but what's the easiest way of getting all the codes for your device into pronto edit?
e.g. I have a sony str-db940, and I don't want to have to learn them all. I also don't want to have to go through everyone else's ccfs looking for the codes I need.
Is this possible? cheers Bob

The easiest way is to upload your CCF and save it, download the Vanilla CCF "default.ccf" from the Samples sub-d.
Then go to the device (whatever that Sony is), and check out the Sony brand codes in the UDB. When you find one that works, upload it, strip everything out of that CCF, and save it as "Sony.ccf", then merge it with your earlier-saved CCF. You've now got vanilla buttons with working codes to alias a prettier CCF to.
