Kingsley, On you site, it says you don't ship internationally due to power etc. Will you be making any exceptions for the 9200?
Btw, I live in a country using 240v, just a differnt plug. Although, my pronto (US version), I just brought a 220v power supply for it so that's not a real problem either.

Does anyone know if the 9200 will be available in the states?

The problem with the "whole screen" concept is that once in a while, you need a shortcut to get somewhere if you didn't put a direct link to it somewhere.
There's a home screen button, so it's possible that this button can be used to jump anywhere (i.e., the home screen may not have the full screen visible).
Obviously, the home & Macro areas are completely useless for me. The device selection area is a different story for me - I occasionally use it to make shortcuts (e.g., turn off a specific device, instead of the whole system through a macro).
Anyway, the versitility of this thing is excellent!

Heh. Know what you mean. It's not out yet though so the only way I'm gonna persuade the other half is to have some spond ready! Amazing you can get decent recievers/decoders for this sort of dosh.

I'm hoping to get some more info on the remotes soon. I would really like to play around with the software, as soon as I get it I'll put it on my site for downloading
Maybe a new forum should be started for Marantz only as the remotes are now different from the Philips ones
I wonder if the will be a new standard pronto with RF?

I don't know if it needs its own forum, I guess it will depend if the software and issues are different enough. I find that when you over compartmentalize you create more problems then you solve. That is one of the reasons that I liked that Daniel decided to keep the PRO on this forum. Yes some issues are specific to one of the remotes, but there are many more issues that apply to all of them.

Anthony... That is right on! It also gives people looking at both one unified place to gather comparative info. -Bruce alpha2data on eBay

Mike - UK slang. Spond (spondoolics) I think is from the north. And dosh from the South.

:o) Yeah, but what do they mean? And have you heard the expression that something is "the pants"? What does that mean?

Mike and Joel, Checkout http://www.english2american.com/It has dosh but not spond. It just a term for cash. and 'pants' basically means crap. As all Brits know. Never ask to 'bum a fag' in the states!

Sorry Dan for going off topic with this one.
Spond is cash also. Pants, yeah mostly right, depends what context ie 'the pants' could be interpreted as 'really good'. Similar to 'the nads' or 'the bol**cks'.
Waiting for that loverly Marantz...

The phrase, "bum a fag", would best be re-stated as the following: "bum a smoke", or "bum a cigarette" here in the US.
