Is it possible, in Pronto Edit, to create a button that when pressed will jump to a different panel then delay and jump to another panel, delay and jump panel again, all with only one press of a button ?

Nope.

See FAQ: B7-08 - Can I use more than 1 page jump in a macro.

It's not *exactly* what you're asking, but it might shed some light on the subject for you.

You *CAN*, however, do all you ask in ONE Macro (button), thusly:

Action >
Delay XX.xx amount of time >
Action >
Delay XX.xx amount of time >
Action >
=====
Repeat as necessary >
=====
Jump To final panel.

Keep in mind, however, that once you press this Button, the Pronto will be "In Use" until the JUMP.

I'm not getting the point of what you want to do, though. Do you want it to jump to another panel and do something there? Then, no.

Also, as far as I am aware, you can only have one jump per button, so I don't even see how, when you jump off to that first panel, you get on the the next, etc. Wouldn't you then have to press a button on that second panel to get it to do something? I guess I need a fuller explanation of exactly what you really want to do?

First off, Joel . . . you of ALL people should know that it's often pointless to try to discern WHY someone posts a thread . . . Mr. King-of-pointless-threads! :-)

Secondly:
"Wouldn't you then have to
press a button on that second panel to get it to do something?"

Yes, you are right! (OhMiGawd!). On a Pronto, anyway, which is why I described how to put Actions interspersed with delays to accomplish what I thought he might be wanting to do - on ONE Button.

However if the point of his thread is that he wants to do . . . say . . . crude animation, then you gots to have a Marantz.

Capice??!!

Sincerely;

(signed) Your Brother, MIKE.

No, but if a button is panel size and you create a different icon for the "Active, selected" state it looks like multiple jumps (like the pictures of polar bears in one of the colour CCFs

Nice one MIKE,

Being and animator I couldn't resist the possibility of creating small animations on the pronto. Say you select the TV button, have the Pronto play an animation of the TV screen building up.

Having the P for the last week or so (it's a 2mb model) I was playing with it but now I see that it takes quite a while to load a different screen then the one you have at the moment.

Maybe on the next model.

Thanks,

Zoti

Mike, my main man,

I never thought the thread was pointless, I just knew I wasn't quite getting it. Also, I never have posted a pointless thread only many, many pointless replies. There is a difference.

MIKE

Besides we all know that JLP is the king of pointless threads, and will defend that title to the death.

Where has he been lately, BTW?

Thanks, Anthony.
