You know, I just want to say Thank God Street-Douche is sparing us from the humilation he might have caused us, with his *greatly superior* and amazing CCF that by all means obviously is much better than anything any of us lowly looser bunch of people could do. I mean who did we think we were kidding? I'm so glad that we can relax now that he's going to take it easy on us, so maybe now my idea of making a black and white CCF for the Pronto PRO will win- I call it "retro-styling".

I hate those damn icons, but they are probably necessary, just because you can't ever judge a person's tone by reading a reply. Oh well...

Sometimes it's a necessary evil, Dustin.
I just saw a documentary about 2 months ago about how many hundreds of millions of dollars are lost every year in the U.S. due to misinterpreting email in businesses.
Those emoticons are an outgrowth of the need to show a persons emotions that don't come through in an email or a chat forum such as this.
Now, we have fancy ones, due in no small part to the efforts of Mr. Warren, although I'm not sure this helps! ;-)

No, emoticons are very expressive. For instance, I think Greg is very sharp and perceptive. I think contributing to the BDT fund is a grand idea! This message was edited by Joel Warren on 09/24/01 23:44.53.

I don't like this contest. I want one I can win,,,you know, like who can sit around in the holeyest underwear, drink the most beer, belch the loudest and scratch unmentionable parts of the body.
Now THATS a contest I could enter to win a $1G prize.

I hear that Philips will also be providing 50 "Limited Edition" ProntoPro t-shirts for the first 50 entries!

Wow, are they advertising this contest anywhere else? I don't want to underestimate our user base, but 50 entries seems like a lot, considering the difficulty of the contest. (I think 75% original graphics is pretty tall order!)

Anthony, where was that Polar Bear CCF again?
I read your link at work, but now, at home, I can't find the thread it was in.
=============================
Never mind, Anthony, I found it. Phew!! It's a BIG sucker!!
